NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Special Meeting will be held by the Town Board of the Town of Monroe, Orange County, New York, on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 8:30 a.m. or soon thereafter as can be heard to consider the adoption of Bond Resolutions concerning the financing of water infrastructure work in Water Districts 8 and 14.

Pursuant to Chapter 471 of the Laws of 2021, the special meeting will be conducted via videoconferencing only at the following link.  There will be no physical meeting location.

Zoning Board of Appeals Public Hearing Notice: The Application of Michael Adams to Receive Six (6) Area Variances for “Lots Abutting a Lake or Stream” November 23, 2021 at 7:30PM, Monroe Town Hall 1465 Orange Tpke., Monroe, NY

 

 

TOWN OF MONROE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE  IS  HEREBY  GIVEN  that, pursuant to § 57-63.G of the Code of the Town of Monroe and § 267-a.7 of the NYS Town Law, that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Monroe, New York, will hold a Public Hearing on the 23rd day of  November, 2021 at 7:30 PM, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard that day at Monroe Town Hall, 1465 Orange Turnpike, Monroe, NY  10950 on the application of Michael Adams to receive six (6)  area variances for “Lots abutting a lake or stream” under Town Code §57-43 and “Accessory buildings and uses” under §57-38. The variances requested are as follows: (1) for a shed minimum setback required 50’ proposed 8’, (2) for a pavilion under §§57-43 and 57-38 minimum setback required 50’ proposed 10’ (3) under §57-38 minimum setback 5’ required proposed 0’ (4) front yard setback 60’ required 15’ proposed 45’, (5) building in the front yard  variance needed under Article XI 57-38(c) In any district no private garage or other accessory building or parking area shall be within a required front yard, (6) Northside Shed under 57-43 shoreline setback 50’ required 30’ proposed encroachment 30’. The lands affected by this application are located at 485 State Route 208 in the Town of Monroe and shown generally on the tax maps of the Town of Monroe as Sec. 1, Block 1, Lot 55.111. A copy of the application is available for public inspection at the office of the Zoning Board during regular business hours.  The meeting is open to the public.

Zoning Board of Appeals Public Hearing Notice: The Application of Congregation Sheri Torah to Receive a Variance From the Requirements of Code §57-38(I), November 23, 2021 at 7:30PM, Monroe Town Hall 1465 Orange Tpke., Monroe, NY

TOWN OF MONROE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE  IS  HEREBY  GIVEN  that, pursuant to § 57-63.G of the Code of the Town of Monroe and § 267-a.7 of the NYS Town Law, that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Monroe, New York, will hold a Public Hearing on the 23rd day of  November, 2021 at 7:30 PM, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard that day at Monroe Town Hall, 1465 Orange Turnpike, Monroe, NY  10950 on the application of Congregation Sheri Torah to receive a variance from the requirements of Code §57-38(I) to permit an extension of time for the use of temporary trailers used as a school during construction of the main school. The lands affected by this application are located at 49 Larkin Drive in the Town of Monroe and shown generally on the tax maps of the Town of Monroe as Sec. 2, Block 1, Lot 29. A copy of the application is available for public inspection at the office of the Zoning Board during regular business hours.  The meeting is open to the public.

Zoning Board of Appeals Public Hearing Notice: Jule Rutledge to Receive Three (3) Area Variances for an Accessory Building, November 23, 2021 at 7:30PM, Monroe Town Hall 1465 Orange Tpke., Monroe, NY

TOWN OF MONROE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE  IS  HEREBY  GIVEN  that, pursuant to § 57-63.G of the Code of the Town of Monroe and § 267-a.7 of the NYS Town Law, that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Monroe, New York, will hold a Public Hearing on the 23rd day of  November,  2021 at 7:30 PM, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard that day at Monroe Town Hall, 1465 Orange Turnpike, Monroe, NY  10950 on the application of Jule Rutledge to receive three (3) area variances for an accessory building as follows: (1) front yard set back, required 40’, proposed 18’; (2) height, maximum permissible 15 feet, provided 16.5 feet, (3) lot coverage 25% maximum to be verified by surveyor.  The lands affected by this application are located at 228 Sunset Terrace in the Town of Monroe and shown generally on the tax maps of the Town of Monroe as Sec. 11, Block 1, Lot 1. A copy of the application is available for public inspection at the office of the Zoning Board during regular business hours.  The meeting is open to the public.
