Located on Lakes Road, Round Lake is a scenic point of interest for residents of the Town of Monroe and its villages, with the island in the middle of the lake serving as a unique focal point. Popular with licensed New York State fishermen, Largemouth Bass and Bluegills can be spotted during the Summer and Fall months. The town owned boat launch site is also located at the Lakes Road access point. While rowboats, kayaks, canoes, and other small craft are allowed on the lake, gas powered motor boats are not permitted. Residents of Round Lake Park with deeded lake rights also enjoy access to the lake via private beach areas in their neighborhood.
