How It Works
Reservation Dial A Ride Service
Every Rider must call our office to make a reservation in order to schedule or make changes to a pickup. The dispatcher will set up a time of pick up and a return time (if requested) that best meets your needs along with a share ride. We recommend three (3) days advance notice whenever possible. Please allow enough time before and after your pick-up for your reservation. We will usually pick up other people along the way, Dial-A-Ride will try to service as many residents as possible along the route and will base its routes on the next pick up or drop off that best meets the route.
Express Loop Fixed Route
The express Loop route is a fixed route service that does not require reservations. Just be in any safe place along the route. This route services The Town of Monroe, Harriman, and Woodbury it also connects with the Coach USA bus at two convenient locations to NYC and other nearby areas Mill Pond Parkway and Woodbury Commons.
Further, for the convenience of our passengers the fixed “Express Loop” route also stops at Harriman Commons Apartments, Lexington Hills Apartments, Lamp Light Village Apartments among other landmarks in the Town of Monroe such as Town Hall and Crystal Run on Rt. 17M.
