NOTICE OF MEETING/PUBLIC HEARINGTIME CHANGE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Monroe Town Board Meeting previously scheduled to commence at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 19, 2022, is now scheduled to commence at 7:30 p.m. on the same date, Monday, September 19, 2022 due to a Public Workshop being presented by the Village of Monroe at Town Hall commencing at 6:00 p.m. on such date regarding Drinking Water Source Protection Plan.

Any and all public hearings noticed for September 19, 2022 will continue as previously scheduled, but such hearings shall not commence any earlier than 7:30 p.m.

Additional T.A.R.A. Certificates Available (limit 5 per resident/per year)

T.A.R.A. - THE ANIMAL RIGHTS ALLIANCE

- (Low cost spay/neutering for CATS ONLY)
- The Town of Monroe Clerks Office partners with the T.A.R.A. spay/neuter program for cats only.
- How the program works: A Town of Monroe, Village of Monroe,  or Village of Harriman resident may come to the Town Clerk's Office to prove residency (driver's license, tax bill, utility bill).
-  A fee of $25.00,  is put toward the total fee charged, and the remaining fee of $25.00 will be subsidized by the Town of Monroe.
- Cats can be spayed or neutered at any T.A.R.A. mobile location
- Certificate expires 60 days from date issued.
- Limit 5 certificates per resident/per year. 
**It is the owner/sponsor responsibility to contact the T.A.R.A. clinic at (845) 343-1000 to make an appointment. (Appointments must be made in advance)
