Compost Facility Reopens on October 29th

The Compost Facility is located on Lakes Road and is open to all Town of Monroe, Village of Monroe and Village of Harriman residents at no cost.

The facility will accept leaves and brush (brush must be tied, under 4 foot in length and no larger than 5 inches in diameter). No grass clippings, logs or wood will be accepted.

Local Law No. 8 of 2022

          Please Take Notice, that the Town Board of the Town of Monroe adopted Local Law No.  8 of 2022 on the 3rd day of October, 2022 at the Town of Monroe Town Hall 1465 Orange Tpk., Monroe, New York.

A Local Law Authorizing a Property Tax Levy in Excess of the Limit Established in General Municipal Law 3-C.

Copies of Local Law No. 8 of 2022 are available at the Town Clerk’s Office during regular business hours.
