Given the current times, please note the following procedures that must be adhered to should you choose to attend a meeting:

Meeting attendees arriving prior to the 7 p.m. meeting start time should enter through the upper level doors where a contactless temperature check will be conducted. To assist in contact tracing efforts, meeting attendees will be asked to provide their name and contact information. Any individual who shows signs of an elevated body temperature of 100.4 will be asked to return home immediately and contact their physician.

- Lastly, please continue to be respectful of others by remaining at home should you feel ill or exhibit any symptoms of COVID-19. 

We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to our safety guidelines and thank you for your ongoing patience and support!

Village of Monroe - Lake Street Road Closures - Beginning September 26, 2022

NOTICE

The Village of Monroe Highway Department will be milling, paving and striping roads beginning

Monday September 26th through Thursday September 29th 2022

As a result, there will be road closures on Millpond Parkway between Beck’s Hardware and the Municipal Lot (Behind Amendola's Pizzeria) and on Lake Street from State Rt. 17M to Stage Road

Detours around these locations will be in place, so please plan your day accordingly.

There will be NO PARKING in the streets during this time.

Public Notice: 2023 T.O.M. Preliminary Budget

PUBLIC HEARING

TOWN OF MONROE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Preliminary Budget for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2023 has been completed and filed in the office of the Town Clerk in the Town of Monroe, New York where it is available for inspection by any interested person between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that the Town Board of the Town of Monroe will meet and review said Preliminary Budget and hold a Public Hearing thereon the 3rd day of October 2022 at approximately 7:00 p.m., 1465 Orange Turnpike, Monroe, NY 10950  to hear all interested persons to consider the adoption of the Budget for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2023 for the Town of Monroe, which shall include the following proposed salaries of certain Town Officers of the Town of Monroe:

Regal Utility Services Inc. will be starting a new Water Main Installation Project for the Village of Monroe Water Department on High St. & Owen Dr. Please see the project information below:          

Location: High St. between Newbury St. & Owen Dr.

Start Date: Monday, September 26, 2022

Road Access: This section of High St. from Newbury St. to Owen Dr. will have one lane road access.

Parking: Limited parking will be allowed on High St from Newbury St. to Owen Dr. during the hours of 8am – 5pm.
