NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Palm Tree and the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Monroe Joint Fire District, both in the County of Orange, State of New York, will hold a rescheduled public hearing for the purpose of the proposed diminution of Fire District
boundaries and provision of fire protections services through the Kiryas Joel Fire Department. The public hearing will be held on the 26th day of February, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. at the Kiryas Joel Fire Department, 1 Chevron Road, Kiryas Joel, New York, for the purpose of the proposed diminution of boundaries of the Monroe Joint Fire District.
The section, block and lot numbers of the properties within the Monroe Joint Fire District proposed to be excluded from it are described as follows:
These properties would hereafter be provided fire protection services by the Kiryas Joel Fire Department. All interested persons are invited to attend this public hearing.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
TOWN OF MONROE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held by the Town Board of the Town of Monroe, Orange County, New York, on February 25, 2019, at 7:00 P.M. at the Town of Monroe Senior Center, 101 Mine Road, Monroe, New York 10950.
The Town Board of the Town of Monroe, New York is considering the adoption of a proposed Local Law that would amend Chapter 51, Article II (Overnight Parking) and Article III (Truck and Bus Exclusions) of the Town Code. The purposes of this local law are to regulate overnight parking during winter storms and periods of snowfall, and to regulate the use of certain Town roads by establishing weight restrictions for buses and trucks.
At the above place and time, the Town Board shall receive comments from the public concerning the proposed Local Law.
Copies of the proposed Local Law amending Chapter 51 of the Town Code will be available on or after February 15, 2019 at the Town Clerk’s Office, located at 1465 Orange Turnpike, Monroe, New York, 10950, Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Hwy/Dial-A-Bus Mechanic Position available. Must have valid CDL (B),current DOT physical, pass drug and alcohol test, able to work flexible hours as a mechanic, plow snow, work weekends if required and perform other highway duties as required. Commercial snow plow experience preferred. Must be skilled repairing gasoline or diesel powered engines. Pay rate is $29.13 per hour.
