Good Afternoon,

The Town of Monroe community shares in the sadness of the untimely passing of NYPD Officer Brian Mulkeen who was killed in the line of duty on September 29, 2019.  A graduate of Monroe-Woodbury High School and Fordham University, at 33 years young, Brian represented the very best of our community.

Brian will forever be remembered as a hometown hero who answered the call to protect and serve. His selfless actions are a reminder of the bravery our law enforcement officers exemplify and the dangers they face on a daily basis. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Mulkeen family, especially his parents, Camille and Brian, as well as his siblings, Erin and Eric.

Flags at all Town of Monroe Municipal Buildings will be flown at half-staff through Friday, October 4th in honor of Brian.

Cordially,

Tony Cardone

Supervisor, Town of Monroe
